Moose, Monet and Me

I’ve always teased that Monet looks a lot like a moose.  Well today I had proof.  While out riding, there was a jogger coming towards us.  When she saw Monet and Me she Almost darted the other way!.  I yelled out, Hey we are not a moose, and the lady held her ground but she looked very nervous!!!  Like Maybe she was afraid a moose ( with a rider) had learned to speak English!

WED. morning the Moose Monsters came Back!  I’m standing in the living room looking out at the horses, wondering why they are staring at the house when Roy looks out the front window and sees the 3 moose in the yard. Before I could grab my camera, almost all th horses were standing at the fence.  it was cool, looked like they were watching a show going on at the  house.

Now the moose and her twins were wondering around eating the trees but not too warried about Roy and I who steped out onto the back porch.  She never put up her hackles, even at the dogs who had to bark but came when called.     Pictures aren’t the best.  The moose were too far away this dark morning for my camera and it took a few minutes to get the better camera ready to shoot.  No battaries or memory card! Now if I could just get Roy to leave it put together!
