Services Offered and Prices

I provide a number of services. Why? Because I enjoy it. My Place is the place to get horse stuff done (not just talked about).

Services include:

  1. Rider-Up Horse Camp. Target Audience — People wanting to really learn about horses and have a good time. Objective – Teaching folks about horses and having fun with your horse, usually 1 week.   Number of "campers" usually 1 or 2 only. Agenda – horses all day. Ground training in the A.M., riding/trail riding in the Afternoon/ Evenings depends. You can bring your horse or use mine. If you bring your horse, boarding for the horse is $6.00 day, covers hay, grain, and corral . From out of town, not a problem, we have room for you to stay at our house, this way we can start the days early and work late!!!! Not interested in trail riding (Not sure why but…)You can come for only the morning sessions. $Cost — Around $300 for a full week.   2. Clinics for Horses and Horse Enthusiasts  — A weekend of pure horse heaven.  Learn to communicate with horses.  Enjoy riding and developing a partnership with your horse or ride one of my.  My horse are not sour, normal riding lesson horses.  They enjoy their jobs and love to be with people.  Cost 250-275/ weekend.  See Horse Enthusiasts Clinic Page for t his  years currently planned clinics. 
  3. Training - Horse and owners. Training includes starting out and starting over for horses and people. Ages range from young and old.   Cost $600/month plus $150 for feed and board.

  4. Horse Assessments. I will assess your horse, tack and training methods and make recommendations on ways you can improve your partnership with your horse. Cost $50.

  5. Gait Training for Horses and Riders. I’ve been riding and Training Gaited horses for over 30 years. I love helping people enjoy riding a nice gaited horse.  Cost $35/hour

  6. CTR (Competitive Trail Riding) advice and/or assistance. I plan to ride the CTR in 2009 up at Fairbanks. This means lots of conditioning for both horses and riders.

  7. Horsemanship class, learn riding, care, maintenance, safety,and first aid for horses.  Classes range from 1 to 2 hours and the important goal it to have fun and learn.  Safety is always first!!! When weather permits, we will be learning out on the trails. This training will be taught in small groups (2 or 3 students) at a time.  Cost $35/lesson / person

  8. Boarding, Limited number allowed to ensure each horse can receive necessary attention. I feed, water, brush when necessary and treat each horse like I would if I owned them. I also help out new owners to ensure they are successful with their horse.   Cost:  Currently Full

  9. Breeding   Bridges’ Path Finder.  Stud fee $450, LFG.  Path has had all beautiful foals.  He is getting older so I will probable limit his breeding.  Book early to ensure your wonderful mare get breed to the Best Walking Stallion in Alaska.

  10. Foals for Sale — Bridge’s Pathfinder (Black and White Beauty) Great Personality. Currently I have one Beautiful Mare, Shelby,  in foal to Pathfinder.   Cost: before Foal is born $2200, If you are are interested, put a deposit down, save $300 before the foal is born.  Guarantee to be health, gaited and beautiful or your full money back.  After birth, $2500 or more.

  11. Horses for Sale, A 3 month money back Guarantee comes with all horses to ensure you are purchasing what is right for you and the horse. This goes for horses I own and horses I’m selling for other people. I’m serious about selling horses to the right person.

  12. Horse Leasing.  Have two horses I would like to lease out.  Cost $200/month for 1/2 lease.  This means you have to right to ride 2 or 3 time a week if you like but I can still use the horse in my training/lessons/ trailing riding as need be. 

  13. Assistance with selling or purchasing Gaited Horses (and sometimes others)  10% of sale

  14. Get out and RIDE!– Trail ride that is.  Come out and go with us if you need a riding partner.  Cost:  $35/hour if you ride one of my  horses, free if you bring your own horse.
  15. Horse Hauling  (cost:  $25/hour.)
